jason todd movie

hey!!!!!! i caN'T WAIT FOR THE NEW JASON TODD MOVIE!!!! i can't believe he was never in JLU! how awesome of a character he would of been!

Well he was always kind of an ehh, character for me. He was awesome no doubt about it but I really always preffered Dick Grayson but yeah we have totally not seen enough Jason Todd!

i can't believe how in the DCAU they just totally skip him and go to Tim Drake.

Actually the DCAU Tim Drake is a slight amalgam of Jason Todd and Tim Drake.

Jason encountered Batman while trying to steal the hubcaps off the Batmobile in the comics while in DCAU Tim Drake encounters Batman after fleeing Two-Face.

Like Jason he is an orphan and a thief, but definitely more of a detective and more inclined to follow Batman's lead than Jason ever was.

So ultimately the DCAU Tim Drake is similar to Jason, but differently enough to be recognized for his comics counterpart - not his comics predecessor.

The boy that appears in BtAS Under-Dwellers does something that's similar to the comics Jason Todd by helping Batman rescuing other children from being pickpockets for the Sewer King.

Whoa whoa whoa wait...

There's a Jason Todd movie?! Why haven't I heard about this before D:!

I only saw the promo special feature for it on the 2nd of the 2-Disc Edition of Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths. It'll be out on DVD this summer.

I don't want to give spoilers for it.

Its being called Under The Red Hood. A mystery to follow what is said to be an opener based on the Death of Jason Todd.

Its being made by the same people who were involved in both the DCAU and many of DCU films for the past few years.
